FBI: International Season 5 trailer and 2026 release update
Despite recent rumors circulating online, there is no official CBS trailer for FBI: International Season 5 because the series was canceled by CBS in March 2025 after four seasons. As a result, there is no confirmed 2026 premiere date for a fifth season on CBS.
However, fan-made videos and unofficial posts claiming that a “Season 5 trailer” has been released continue to spread across social media. These videos often reuse footage from previous seasons, combine clips from other productions, or feature AI-generated narration. They are not official CBS promotional material.
Although the series ended on CBS, fans haven’t completely given up hope. Reports following the cancellation indicated that the studio behind the franchise was exploring opportunities to shop FBI: International to other outlets, but no network or streaming service has officially revived the show as of July 2026.
If the series were ever revived, viewers would likely see the Fly Team tackling fresh international threats across Europe while continuing the character-driven storytelling that made the show popular. Jesse Lee Soffer’s Wes Mitchell had recently taken over as team leader, leaving plenty of potential for future storylines if the franchise ever returns. However, those possibilities remain speculative until an official announcement is made.
Meanwhile, the broader FBI franchise has continued in a different direction. The flagship FBI series remains on the air, while CBS has expanded the franchise with the new series CIA, following the cancellations of FBI: International and FBI: Most Wanted.
